In Polk County, Georgia, an Animal Control officer discovered seven newborn puppies and their mother thrown out on the side of a road on Tuesday. The mother dog is emaciated  and appears to be starving and dehydrated.

The puppies were discovered lying in a Bella mushroom box; the mother dog has been named Bella, and her puppies have been named different types of mushrooms. The mother dog and her puppies are Labrador retriever mixes.

The dogs are at the Polk County, GA Animal Adoption and Recovery Shelter and need immediate rescue. Share their plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts.

The mother dog and her puppies will be ready for adoption on October 22 after the mandatory holding period for lost and abandoned pets.

If I wasn’t so far away in Northern California, that precious little family would be at my house (fostered) & I would be interviewing new families for new furever homes for them……. Fostering is NOT impossible (& whilst I have failed a few times & kept the furbaby), it’s rewarding when a new furbaby joins a new furever family for a great new life!!!

I fail to understand how and why anyone can be so cruel…… I also fail to understand WHY people don’t “fix & chip” whenever a new furbaby joins a family……

Thank You for taking this Little family In and not Immediately Killing them! The Southern States aren’t noted for doing much in the way of rescue!!!
