At the Adoptable Pets of Lifeline – Atlanta, GA, Wynona was never chosen. Her last sunset is scheduled for later today. Is it too late?

Wynona’s advocate is asking everyone on social media to help. And here’s the story; there’s nothing about her that stands out. She entered the shelter as a stray. She didn’t have a heartbreaking story, and it’s as if Wynona has never “been someone’s anything.”
Wynona has never had her own bed, her own person and one hour after the shelter closed last night, her awesome advocate Erica, stayed behind to hug and tell the friendly pup she was loved, despite what was to be her last day.
But they’re out of space, and this young dog is out of time. She will be gone today unless someone arrives at the shelter and decides to be the first chapter of her life instead of a story that never had the opportunity to even begin.
Pictured above is Erica saying goodnight to her – Wynona’s “last night on her last night.”
Here’s a bit more detail about this wonderful pup. She is bold, independent and reveals her soft side on her own terms. She wants adventure, she loves playing in the yard and has no qualms kicking up some mulch – just for fun.
It takes her some time to settle in, but she eventually approaches for some snacks – thrown in the air. She continues to love to play and cherishes her freedom to run on a sunny afternoon.
Wynona has come a long way from her fearful intake days. She’s smart, spirited, and full of personality, an unforgettable companion for someone who appreciates a confident dog with a warm heart underneath.

It’s so sad to read about this wonderful companion who has been failed every which way by so many humans. If we lived in the area, she would have been welcomed into our home and puppy pack. Sadly we are on the opposite side of the country and I was just reading this article now……. If by some miracle she is still alive Saturday, how can we get her to Washington state??? Advice is welcome.
Any pupdates, even if they are sad??? I am so sorry for this precious little treasure😭😭😭
