Heartwarming: Shelter pup who had given up – lights up when he realizes visitors came to meet him

At the City of Mobile Animal Services, two-year-old Marlo had just about given up of ever leaving his concrete and steel barred shelter enclosure. He used to jump off his bed and run up to the front of his kennel whenever visitors would walk by, but sadly, no one stopped and no one seemed to want to meet him.

For awhile, it had been the way his face lit up when someone would visit, but then came the time he didn’t bother anymore.

But wait….

Just two weeks ago, Marlo’s fate changed. Check out his video and how happy he was when he realized visitors were there to meet him.

Check this out:

And here’s the good news!

“Thank you all so much for your shares for our sweet boy Marlo. The team stayed late at The City of Mobile Animal Services to allow his meet and greet to come all the way from Mississippi to make sure he didn’t spend another night in the kennel. He went to an amazing foster home and providing everything goes well. It will be an adoption. Once again none of this would be possible without all of your shares.!! Here is a little video of him meeting his new family tonight.”

And that’s how it works. Many thanks for sharing the stories of these amazing rescues. We only wish every pup, cat, horse and all of our fav creatures find the best homes.
