In Layton, Utah, the Davis County Sheriff’s Office reported Memphis Lor had been traveling along the highway on October 22, threw six 3-week-old puppies out of the window. The mother dog was then thrown out in a different area.

When discovered, two of the puppies had died, but when the remaining puppies were found along with their mother, the family was reunited. One puppy was seriously injured and is slowly making progress.
Lor had kept one of the puppies and brought it into the sheriff’s office. He was arrested and has since been released pending a court hearing. He faces seven felony counts of Torturing a Companion Animal.

Cindy Blanchard, a volunteer at the Animal Care of Davis County, is fostering the family and feeding the puppies every three hours since the mother dog, Otter is so undernourished and too weak to care for her puppies.

Blanchard said she is going to get the five surviving puppies, along with their mother, healthy again before putting them up for adoption. Meet Manatee, Walrus, Seal, Hippo, and Orca.
I imagine I’m going to have her for at least a month at a minimum, and when the babies reach eight to 10 weeks…
