Meet Dino; he is a seven-month-old German shepherd puppy who was surrendered by his owner to the Downey Animal Care Center in California. Shortly after arriving at the shelter, the pup subsequently had one of his front legs amputated as the result of an injury.
The most recent update indicates, although losing a leg that has impacted the puppy’s ability to play and romp around as all puppies love to do, Dino remains loving and friendly. Despite his hardships, he still wags his tail, and…
when someone visits even when it’s hard to stand. His resilience is quiet, but it’s there, showing in every careful step, in every hesitant sniff, in every glance that he still searches for kindness.
Dino is still in need of an adopter, foster home or rescue organization. Please share his plight with friends, family, approved rescue organizations and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
