Sad older Pyrenees abandoned by family who never responded to shelter

If this sad, older Pyrenees blend could speak, he would still be asking why his family abandoned him? According to his microchip, his name is Booger, and since May 18, this gentle soul has been waiting for his family. Sadly, they never responded to multiple requests.

And he waits…

He was brought to the shelter and listed as an abandoned dog. He has an old jaw injury that may have healed incorrectly.

booger came in abandoned on a property. We attempted to contact the owners but were unable to reach them. No other information was available.

Booger (A5777358) has been placed on the euthanasia list. His 72-hour notice, sent out by the Palmdale shelter’s email list, indicates June 7, could be his last day to watch the sunrise.
