For the first seven years of his life, Tyson lived with his beloved owner, but when an unavoidable tragic situation occurred, his former owner could no longer keep his dog after having to move in with his elderly father. Tyson was surrendered to the local shelter in Chester County,

Noah’s Ark Rescue and Sanctuary posted last week on social media for Tyson’s rescue after meeting him and of course falling in love. Volunteers visiting Tyson were left in tears as the poor guy fussed because he didn’t want to be returned to his kennel at the shelter.

Tyson is at risk of euthanasia because after living with his owner his entire life, he isn’t adjusting well to shelter life. There are no open kennels and dogs like Tyson who need urgent exit are chosen. Tyson is a dog friendly, senior boxer mix. He is chunky with some fatty masses on his side we wanna get checked out. He loves people so hard and hates the shelter. We need a foster to save his life.

No small children. He does not like cats.

Tyson had been scheduled to be euthanized on Saturday, and the rescue organization sent out multiple pleas for help; and instead of being put to sleep, he received hugs, charmed the vet staff for treats and received a clean bill of health. Tyson had no cancer cells in his masses, and while he is neutered next week, the masses will also be removed. Once his surgery is complete, he will be searching for his “furever” home where he can be loved and retired in style.

Welcome to the fist day of your next chapter Tyson. You are one lucky pup!
