In Forest, Virginia, a not so clever feline had to have used up one or two of her nine lives after getting trapped under a neighbor’s door in their garage.

According to the Forest Fire Department, it had been on Wednesday night, May 6, following a response to a motor vehicle crash, rescuers were alerted to an unusual situation involving a cat who had ended up in – shall we say a tight squeeze? The cat had become trapped under a neighbor’s door in their garage in between a small gap in the floor and the door.

Firefighters worked quickly to free the cat before she sustained serious injuries and were able to open the door and free her.

Once the cat was freed, she immediately ran back home.
