At the Devore Animal Shelter in Devore, California, the very handsome German shepherd named Marcus is currently on the euthanasia list, and his life is scheduled to end tomorrow. He was found as a stray near 9000 Blk Portola in Bloomington on August 10, 2023, and no one has come to help him, nor has his owner been there to claim him.
We can never know how anyone would abandon such a great dog!

Description: I am a black and brown, unaltered male, who looks like a German Shepherd Dog.
Age: I am estimated to be 4 years old.

Because Marcus has been sneezing and has a nasal discharge, he will need a medical waiver to be released, however he can be adopted by anyone who agrees to sign the waiver and bring the dog to a licensed veterinarian to be treated for his respiratory infection.
Here is what a volunteer has stated about this young dog:
He is only four years old and is sneezing and has developed a runny nose which is allegedly being treated. Nevertheless, Devore has placed him on the kill list.
he gently takes treats and his demeanor is ‘lovely’. Poor Marcus is depressed and shutting down.

Marcus is obviously not accustomed to living in an environment filled with the deafening cries of scared dogs and the depressing smell of death.
