Sad little puppy found wandering alone but he wasn’t missed because his family didn’t want him

One-year-old Vinny Meatballs thought he was going home last night. He had been picked up wandering the Dallas area streets by animal control officers who thought for sure he was just lost.

Instead he was surrendered to the Dallas county dog shelter by his family. Everyone assumed his family had been missing him and would be relieved to see him, but when the owners were notified, they told the shelter staff they didn’t want him any longer.

Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab.Reform have stepped up, and Vinny Meatballs is on his way to the rescue organization.

Plot twist; This dog wasn’t lost.

He wasn’t abandoned.

He wasn’t even a stray.

He had an owner.

And tonight, that owner surrendered him.

This over the top adorable and loveable pup is less than a year old. He weighs 9 pounds, and today he needs a foster home. Perhaps the saddest part of Vinny’s story isn’t that he was lost. No one was looking for him.

He has no idea that his life has been turned upside down. Let’s make sure he isn’t wondering what comes next. Please share his plight with friends, family and social media contacts.

It’s so disappointing his owner gave up on him, but let’s show Vinny Meatballs there’s a bright future.
