In San Bernadino, California, animal control officers captured a two-year-old stray Heeler wandering the streets by himself. Sadly, he was terrified when the officers used a catchpole on him and appeared to have cruelly and unapologetically lifted the dog off his feet and pushed him into the truck, witnesses were heartbroken.

According to the rescue group, Save A Heeler, the dog, dubbed Wasabi has been at the shelter since October 18. Because he is so scared and shut down, Wasabi is now on the euthanasia list. How is that fair?
