In the outskirts of Los Angeles, independent dog rescuer Suzette Hall rushed out of her home to save an abandoned dog whose story made her cry. Fortunately, her friend Fatima had spotted the dog, and now it was time to rescue her.

It had been two days ago when local residents had spotted a dog, who apparently had been dumped by her owner. The heartless person left the pup with just her little bed; a note had been attached to the car beneath where the dog cuddled up in fear. The note stated a dog was underneath the car. And then they drove away.

The loyal little pooch curled up on her bed and tried her best to hide under the car; she waited for her special someone to come back. No one would be able to convince her that person was never returning.
And then the situation got even worse. Someone stole her bed; it had been the only comfort the dog had left.

After that, nobody could find her. The dog had been left frantic; she had been reported going door to door, wandering the block looking for her bed, for her safety and for something or someone familiar.
Many thanks to dog advocate Fatima, who after getting home from work, went out searching for the dog and found her.

The frightened dog had crawled under a house. She hid because she had nowhere else to go. Even the last vestige of her past life had been cruelly taken from her.
Suzette arrived and set her humane trap. The dog was so hungry, she crawled out from beneath the house on her own and walked willingly into the trap for the warm chicken waiting for her. She was starving.

My heart just breaks for her. But we’ll get her a new, soft bed — one that’s all hers and that no one will ever take away.
She even has a perfect little heart shape on her bottom; you can see it in the above photo. That’s how she got her name: Amour; because she is pure love, and love is exactly what she’ll have from now on.
Meet Amour; she is safe.
