Police in Oklahoma City were involved in an unusual pursuit on Tuesday morning after two dogs were spotted and reported by a Sky 5 News helicopter playfully running along an Oklahoma City highway.
Yes, we know it’s rather subjective observing the faces of the two dogs as they appeared to be smiling when they approached Oklahoma City Boulevard near Interstate 40. Police followed the dogs heading in the wrong direction on the ramp. Traffic had been stopped to make sure there were no accidents or injuries.
While having their fun, the dogs occasionally looked back at the police to make sure the police vehicle was still following them. They also seemed to be looking into the vehicles of stopped traffic as if trying to recognize someone perhaps?
Once they approached the ramp, an officer was able to guide them toward the safety of a grassy median.
It’s not known where the dogs came from or to whom they belong.
