Malnourished and slightly different but no one wants to save ‘Wafer’

Wafer arrived at the City of San Bernardino Animal Services on March 14, 2024 as a stray; he is now on the “red list” which sadly means he is soon to be euthanized. When he arrived at the shelter, three-year-old Wafer only weighed 28 pounds, and the shelter staff described him as being malnourished and having a “severe overbite.”

What mostly happens to innocent dogs like Wafer is their lives ending at the shelter; and they are soon forgotten, but Wafer is a young dog whose deep brown eyes silently call out for someone to love him and show him that life can be good.
