At the Nueces County Rural Shelter, two-year-old Peaches is on the dreaded list to be euthanized at the end of the day. The very sweet boxer mix appears to have been well-taken care of both in health and her friendly behavior, but no one has reached out to adopt her.
And so 55-pound Peaches loves to be petted, loves attention and gets very excited when she has visitors. Her shelter advocate says she is very gentle when accepting treats and just wants a family of her own to love.
