In Edinburg, Texas at the Palm Valley Animal Society, an 18-year-old golden retriever named Beauty is confused as she waits for her family to return. Sadly, no one will be coming to the shelter to take her home.

And now advocates are responding to Beauty’s plight and have been pledging donations to help with expenses to an approved rescue organization once the dog is safely out of the shelter.

Do these POSs who dumped this precious treasure honestly believe that there is a long line of potential adopters for an elderly furbaby??? I think they didn’t want to spend any money on geriatric care and possible euthanasia……. Really disgusts me that they are blessed with a long lived furbaby and they don’t want to care for her after she has loved them her entire life. Most of us would give anything to have more time with our elderly furbabies……. I know that I would give up everything to have my precious little treasures to live as long as Benny!!!
I hope someone can open their heart and home for Benny. She deserves to be in a loving furever family where she will be treated as a beloved family member.

Sorry for calling precious treasure Beauty the wrong name: Benny…..

Why one shouldn’t type whilst crying!!!

I am still very sad for this precious treasure!!! Her life matters and she belongs in a loving furever family for however much time she has left in life. I truly hope she is rehomed or rescued ASAP so her life does not end in the shelter.
