At South Florida’s Miami-Dade Animal Services, CHEWIE #A2718622 needs rescue help as soon as possible. This tiny 12-pound pup with a big heart and a huge personality has been dealing with a health issue that needs immediate intervention by a veterinarian.
Chewie has been suffering from a severe URI (Upper Respiratory Infection). The shelter is the worst place for a dog to try and recover from a serious illness. The constant noise and stress are hindering his ability to get well. He needs a calm, peaceful home where he can finally rest and receive the dedicated care he needs to get healthy.
Sadly, Chewie has been at the shelter since the end of August.
Despite his illness, Chewie has a big personality that is just waiting to shine. He is a truly sweet companion who is fighting hard, and he deserves to heal in a loving home, not a kennel.
