At the North Central Shelter in Los Angeles (Los Angeles Animal Services), Coco Chanel just gave birth to seven puppies. Sadly, one puppy died, but the six-year-old German shepherd blend is a wonderful mom. Volunteers say she is very frightened and concerned for her new family, and it is imperative that they find a safe way out of the shelter. After all, a cold shelter with concrete floors is hardly the place for these tiny puppies.

Coco Chanel has been at the shelter since November 29, 2022.
