St Bernard puppy dumped at shelter after his owners never bothered to train him

An eight-month-old St. Bernard puppy was surrendered to the Devore Animal Shelter in San Bernardino, California late last week because he was reported to have growled and snapped at a family member. What brought that behavior on is unknown, but dogs don’t react like that without some kind of provocation.

Nevertheless, the puppy named Benji, will suffer the consequences of lack of training and positive reinforcement, unless an approved rescue organization steps forward to help.
