A five-year-old dog named Little Ritchie has been patiently waiting for someone to choose him from the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in New York. But after 1274 days, he is wondering why nobody has ever picked him.
On Monday morning, the Adoptable Shelter Dogs Facebook page posted a photo of Little Ritchie, writing:
1,274 DAYS! LITTLE RITCHIE spends his days wondering why there have been no APPS or MEETS for him.
Why is no one is picking him? Let’s share for LITTLE RITCHIE!
Ritchie has many wonderful attributes…he loves to play, he is potty-trained, and he knows several commands. Those who know him best recommend a household with NO cats, an experienced dog owner, and no children. It can take Little Ritchie a while to warm up to new people…but he is worth the wait.
Will you please help this dog find the home that is perfect for him? He has waited far too long already.
