At the crowded Miami-Dade Animal Services, the gentle giant Joe still waits for his special someone to fall in love with him and take him home. Sadly, he is on the critical list to be euthanized, and it is hoped by reading this story about this sweet boy, someone will save his life and become his forever angel.
A volunteer at the shelter posted the following:
He is sweet and gentle and comes at the door and presses though the bars of the kennel to get a scratch behind the ears. The crossed eyes that gives him this irresistible sweet look in reality do not allow him to see well. so he gets uncomfortable and scared if he cannot see the people well, from the side. He needs a rescue to help him with his condition. Please help this super sweet giant to get out into safety

Joe is three-years-old and was picked up in the area as a stray on July 18, 2022. He is a 100-pound love boy who other volunteers describe as a “big mush and kind of goofy. He loves playing with toys and also knows how to sit for treats.”
