A call for help went out on Monday morning from Dallas Dog – Rescue. Rehab. Reform for a dog named Coal. It’s painful to even believe that Coal had an owner; his photos had been posted on one of the South Texas pages asking for a rescue organization to intervene and help this neglected and abused dog.

An animal control officer and a volunteer from Dallas Dog RRR went out to rescue the dog and immediately rushed him to the veterinarian emergency hospital with a fever of 105 degrees. When Coal arrived at the vet, he collapsed. He is currently being examined, but needs help now.

His prognosis will be updated. It does appear Coal has a severe mange infection; what pain this poor boy must have been experiencing.

His pictures tell his story.

Coal really needs help. Donations appreciated.
