Meet Martha; a beautiful, three-year-old black and white female Siberian husky. On November 26, Martha was brought to the Riverside County Animal Control – Coachella Shelter. She has been accused of killing some chickens, placed on the “special needs” list and therefore has been placed on the euthanasia list.

And here is the challenging questions as to why Martha, so recently arriving at the shelter as a stray, is slated to be euthanized so quickly.
As a vegan I am offended by the fact that this husky is going to be killed because she killed some chickens when she was a stray. Humans torture chickens before they kill them in factory farms…should they face the same fate?
