Logan is 15-years-old, and for some very disheartening reason, he is back at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, California after having been adopted from there years ago.

LOGAN (#A1315698) is looking good, considering he’s 15-years-old. You read that correctly. LOGAN is 15-EFF’N-YEARS-OLD, and he’s back in the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, after having been adopted from there long ago.

Logan was found wandering the streets as a stray. His intake information has been labeled “POS OWNER” which often stands for more than “Possible Owner,” but each reader can make their own decision as to the meaning of the words. When found, he was wearing a rusted choke collar.

On Thursday, Sherry visited Logan at the shelter. According to the staff, he can usually be seen lying in the cubby of his kennel. He may be hearing impaired, but when he realized Sherry had come to visit him, he came up front and allowed himself to be leashed. His back legs seemed stiff at first, but when he entered the play yard, he easily pranced around.

Logan enjoys attention, likes being petted and gently took the treats offered to him.

By posting this, I’m hoping someone will want to open their heart and home to LOGAN and provide him with a soft pillow to lounge on, and a couple of daily, slow walks around the neighborhood. Believe me, he is easy to love, from the moment you meet him.
