Seven-pound dog surrendered to crowded shelter in pathetic condition

Meet Luna; a seven-pound Maltese impounded on Wednesday to the SEAACA Shelter in Downey, California. One can only imagine how sad her life has been and how little anyone ever cared for her.

When Luna arrived at the shelter, she was immediately taken to the medical ward. Her description from the shelter states:

“20-14030 has severe facial matting and needs grooming. Also has an ear infection. Is 5+year old and 7 pounds.”

20-14030 is a white, female adult dog, that weighs approximately 7 lbs. She was impounded on 1/28/2020 from the City of Montebello.
