Run over by a car and dragged Milly’s life hanging by a thread

Milly was brought into a Texas shelter on Tuesday afternoon. She had been found  in the Rio Grande Valley after having been run over by a car and dragged.

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC came to her aid as soon as the shelter recognized the seriousness of the dog’s injuries and reached out for help.

“This poor puppy is in critical condition; she cannot walk on her 2 front legs. You can see how damaged they are, one leg is ripped open to the bone, the other is so swollen,” the rescue’s co-founder Stacey Silverstein posted on social media along with graphic photos of Milly’s injuries.

Milly arrived at the emergency hospital where is receiving life-saving care. She has lost a lot of blood and is  expected to be receiving a blood transfusion. At this time, her prognosis is unknown nor is it even known if she will be able to walk again, but she will be receiving the best medical care in order to save her life.
