‘Scotty’ cried in his kennel at shelter as his owners walked away

Scotty is a seven-year-old Chihuahua who was surrendered on Wednesday. A shelter volunteer at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center in California eyes welled up with tears as she watched the little dog’s reaction as he was surrendered.

“This is the hard part to see. He was put in his kennel and just kept looking out and crying wondering where his family went. Heartbreaking! SO SAD!

He was here before back in October 2019. Now again. He’s a cute little 5 pound and we hope someone can come save him and give him love ASAP. Please share so he doesn’t have to keep feeling like this.”

    Thank goodness you provided his info. At least he is in a shelter (vs. dumped in the woods, on the street……)
