From the Friends of Sumter County Animal Services, a Facebook post is asking for help. The young adult mixed breed pooch named Cranberry just wants to go home. Perhaps you can help him, or if that’s not an option, could you share his story with friends, family and social media contacts?
He has volunteered to even bring his own bowl. He just wants a home and a family.
As the shelter staff says:

Cranberry is URGENT
He needs you to help spread the word.
Cranberry needs to go home and gain some weight. He is great on a leash and gentle with toy play. He’s really beautiful inside and out. Right now, this very sociable pooch is struggling with the isolation of the shelter kennels. It is feared he will not be at the shelter much longer if he doesn’t find a home where he is loved and safe.
Please come meet him, give him a chance!
Adopt Cranberry at Sumter County Animal Services. The shelter is located at 819 CR 529, Sumterville, FL 33585, located just off I-75, Exit 321. Easy access, centrally located, and convenient. Adopt!
