Meet Sunshine; this two-year-old Great Dane blend doesn’t want to miss greeting potential adopters at the front of her kennel at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. She’s sweet, she’s friendly and shares her space with four other dogs who are all in the same predicament – help us find a foster home or better yet – please adopt.

Sunshine has been at the shelter since August 28. She weighs 76 pounds and is up-to-date on her vaccines including rabies. Sadly, she has developed an upper respiratory infection with nasal discharge, and for crowded shelters, that often means complications or in some circumstances humane euthanasia.
At this time, Sunshine is listed as “Rescue Only” because of her medical needs.

Shelter notes indicate Sunshine’s best chances of finding a home is through a rescue organization or an experienced adopter who can provide the necessary medical care she needs.
