Beautiful shepherd in search of home from overcrowded shelter before her future fades away

At the Carson Animal Care in California, an urgent notice has been issued for a two-year-old beautiful German shepherd named July. (#A5709671)

July arrived at the shelter as a stray back in June. In her intake photo, she had been wearing a collar so it’s possible she ran away, and her family never knew to check here. She is barely two years old, a stunning German Shepherd, but she has been very nervous in the shelter.

After months at the shelter, it was hoped July would settle in, but she still remains stressed and shut down. Some dogs just never get used to shelter life.

According to shelter notes, time is running out for her; July is set to be euthanized in just a few days. If you’ve ever thought about opening your heart and home, please don’t wait. Come meet her at the Carson Animal Shelter.

Meet July

#A5709671 My name is JULY and I’m an approximately 2 year old female German Shepherd. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 6/28. I will be available on 7/3. You can visit me at my temporary home at C227.

German Shepherd AGE:2 years

Female ARRIVED:6/28

Shelter notes: (end of July)

July A5709671 (spayed) greeted the runner with a relaxed demeanor, she was easy to remove, and she slightly pulled on leash. In the catch pen when she was introduced to the dogs her body was neutral, her eyes were alert and her mouth was closed. She was easy to collar and leash. She entered the yard and was uncomfortable during the greetings. She anxiously paced back and forth. She whined. She gave strong corrections to the dogs who hovered around her. She used the handlers as shields. She continued to pace back and forth. Overall, July was selective of the dogs and does not have a playstyle at this time. Behaviorally ok for public adoption, large calm dogs required.”

Additional information:

July A5709671 arrived with two puppies.

They were found near 2800 E. Del Amo Blvd., Compton 90221 Her two puppies were adopted, and she needs help now.

Please share July’s plight with friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
