At the Carson Animal Shelter in California, two bonded sisters who arrived as strays hug each other closely. They look to each other for comfort and can’t understand why they are where they are. When the two are separated, one can see how desperately they miss each other; in the perfect adoption situation, these two would do best if they could stay together.
