Hoping for justice for an innocent little dog who had been the victim of disturbing animal cruelty, it was on Saturday that authorities arrested Shacoria Pulliam, 30, in Ft. Lauderdale and charged her with killing her tiny poodle. According to reporter Chris Gothner, for 10News, the witness who informed police about the horrible incident lives with Pulliam.

According to the witness, it had been on August 28 when he encountered Pulliam in an “agitated” state yelling and screaming at the small poodle mix named Snowball. The woman then punched the dog in the head, and the little pup cried out in fear and pain. The witness said he stopped Pulliam from hitting Snowball, and placed the dog back into her kennel crate to keep her safe.

Later that evening, he saw Pulliam hitting the dog with a frying pan and kicking the crying dog out the front door. Other neighbors also reported seeing the woman beat the dog. That was the last time anyone saw Snowball.

Just three days later, the woman’s housemate found the lifeless body of Snowball in a trashcan along the side of the apartment where the two lived. A necropsy confirmed the dog died of blunt force trauma.

Pulliam is currently at Broward County Detention Center and is charged with felony animal cruelty causing the death of an animal. Her bond remains at $25,000.

    • It’s just a poodle man dogs don’t have rights like people so I highly doubt this dog will get any justice no matter what she did to it. Let me share a story with you and give you a good example of “ dogs not having rights “ a neighbor of mine owned 2 dogs and he still lived with his mother they had a horrible track record with owning dogs and he had a horrible anger issues and would often hit or beat their dogs out of anger so much so that the animals eyes would detach from their optic nerves and leave the animal blind in one eye or severely disfigured on the skull. Because of the about of trauma it received and the amount of force it was given to do it. He even went so far as to get his dog to chase him while he was on an electric scooter and then get it lost while it was looking for him and then when they happened he would drive away and intentionally leave the dog behind hoping that it would die in the elements or die trying to get back mind you this dog was 10 years old and it didn’t have many years left to live not to mention its nails on its paws where severely overgrown so much so that when he got out ( which was often) you could hear his nails tapping on the sidewalk or up your driveway. Can’t believe people these days getting so irritated online every time someone posts a article of someone abusing a dog nowadays lol the more I look at it the more I see that the way people behave online over stuff like this makes me think that in their minds they think dogs are more important than people and that if someone hurts a dog then that person will hurt them sorry to break it to you all but dogs are not royalty they serve us we don’t serve them they don’t belong on a golden diamond studded throne with a golden crown on their heads drinking water from a golden water bowl and eating food from a golden plate. They are as the law puts it properly they are property and nothing more than that. So just quit with all this nonsense and go enjoy the rest of your afternoon with the ones you love and leave the punishment to the professionals they have more experience in dealing with people like her than any of you have had in an entire week remember not every animal abuse case ends up on the news some cases are strictly within the system only snd they make sure in every way possible that none of those cases will ever end up on the media for all to see
