Meet Tony; this five year old Boxer/pittie mix is patiently waiting for someone to adopt and love him. He currently is a favorite at BARC-Ct. organization, but he needs to be in a home – not at a shelter or rescue.

No one wants him because he only has one eye. Imagine that?  And it’s particularly silly because his one eye is what makes him extra special. It does not have any effect on his daily life. There is no adoption fee for Tony,  because he needs a special person who understands Tony may only have one eye, but he offers double the love to give to the right person.

Here are some of the remarkable characteristics of Tony. He has been professionally trained and knows all of his commands. He is crate trained wears an E-collar and is perfectly healthy.

Tony is FULLY and completely professionally trained. He LOVES his crate and crate time. He flourished on his e-collar so we are seeking an adopter who understands the genius of e-collar methodology.

As to other dogs, Tony is respectful and can live with other dogs as long as he has been properly introduced and once his adopter has command of the relationship. Tony even LOVES cats and is gentle and sweet with them.

And there are always Tony’s favorite pastimes; car rides, chill times, walks, yard play and of course those precious belly rubs.

Can you offer Tony a great home? Please apply BARC-CT.org/adoption.
