Affectionate girl who loves to roll in the grass stuck in lonely shelter for last 6 months

Six-year-old Bixey has been at the North Central Shelter in Los Angeles since January 2023. When a shelter volunteer had been visiting a recent surrendered dog in the kennel next to Bixey, she looked over and saw what she described as a very sad looking girl.

Bixey’s shelter staff notes state the dog is very sweet, loves to roll in the grass and zoom around the play yard when allowed to leave her shelter cage.

Check out her video. Only then can you really understand how this sweetheart deserves better.

Please share Bixey’s plight and help her exit the shelter. Share her story with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
