On Saturday evening, this little pup was found all alone; she had been left to fend for herself in an abandoned area filled with trash. Her bed was atop of trash, twigs and a discarded, filthy blanket; her future looked bleak until a kind hearted person found her and asked for help via social media.
Dallas Dog – RRR, a non profit rescue organization who come to the aid of unwanted neglected, and abused animals across Texas, stepped forward to help. The dog, dubbed Mia, was rushed to an emergency veterinarian hospital for immediate care.
According to information posted by the rescue organization, Mia had been abandoned by her family. They had supposedly taken their other dog with them, but had left Mia behind. Of course, no one knows why this sweet little pup was abandoned, but it is likely the previous owners could not afford her veterinarian care. A wonderful neighbor had been feeding Mia and tried her best to help until a rescue organization could be found.
And when Mia was examined by a veterinarian today, she was found to be suffering from skin infections and demodex mange – all easy fixes. Mia will never suffer again. Although Mia looks sad, and her eyes tell her story, it won’t be long before she will be wagging her tail, looking happy and finding someone to love her “furever.”
