When an animal advocate spotted a very frightened dog holding up one of her back legs, running in the opposite direction of traffic on the 210 Freeway in San Bernardino, she knew she couldn’t leave without calling for help. Seeing the lame shepherd running frantically in the center of the middle divider with no where to go was heartbreaking.
And that’s when a call went to rescuer Faith Easdale and her team from Dream Fetchers: Project Rescue. A plan was soon to be set in motion to rescue the panicky pooch and bring her to safety.
“I mean how do they get in the center?,” Faith wondered as she posted the video of the dog needing to be brought to safety. “No way they could run across a freeway that’s insanely busy 24/7. This is the third dog we’ve rescued in exactly the same area…”
