Barely a week ago, a broken and ready to die homeless pup was found curled up in the corner of a building. Stray Rescue of St. Louis arrived to help:
“A call came in that a dog was laying against a building, unmoving. Expecting to find an injured dog, we instead found a sweet little girl all curled up….she had given up. Not hurt, but broken. She had nowhere to go, no one to love her, and no place she felt safe. We spoke sweetly to her and put a leash on her, she still didn’t budge. We carried her to the jeep and that’s when we saw just how skinny she was. We kept talking to her and we finally got the tiniest tail wag.
Frederica huddled into a ball and tried to make herself disappear against the building.
And so it was time for “Foster Dad Dan” to help. He arrived at the rescue and brought Frederica home with him; it was love at first sight. She wiggles, she cuddles and she loves sleeping in bed ; yes, Frederica has found herself.

World, meet this very beautiful and DESERVING girl who now has a name. This is Frederica and she’s an angel on Earth. Love will bring her back to life because in the end, love always wins.
