Shelter needs help with petrified 5-month-old puppy

At the Orangeburg County Animal Control and Shelter in South Carolina, a petrified five-month-old puppy was so afraid when she first arrived she would hide under her bed and do her best to avoid human contact. Dubbed Geisha, she has shown absolutely no aggression – she is just scared.

A volunteer at the shelter tells her story:

“And this is Geisha.
Only about five months old, Geisha is so very afraid in her kennel. She apparently has never known much kindness. Absolutely no aggression, just fear. We can pet her and now she sleeps on her bed instead of hiding under it. Can a Rescue step up to save her? We will not give up on you, Geisha. We promise.”
