Dumping ground dog waits on discarded chair for someone to help him

It is becoming an everyday occurrence in some of the most isolated areas of South Texas. Each day brings new dogs that have been dumped and abandoned. Each day they get thinner and thinner – most die from starvation, exhaustion and dehydration. A few survive – no one really knows why. Perhaps they have a message to share and a lesson to teach?

On Friday afternoon, animal control has been searching for a dog seen at the dumping grounds seriously in need of medical help. And then there came this boy; spotted sleeping on a dumped recliner:

Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab, Reform has stepped forward to help:

“He made himself at home on this dumped recliner! He wanted to be seen and he clearly wanted to be rescue. He is safe and with our rescue,” the organization posted on their Facebook page.

This lucky dog is expected to arrive in Dallas on Saturday where he will be examined by specialists for a series of  medical issues including severe arrhythmia, skin infections, anemia and mange.
