September, aka Sammy, has been at Carson Animal Care Center since September 13. He came in as a stray, but he is a gregarious tan and black German shepherd who loves to socialize and run around on the playground with other dogs.
Estimated to be about eight-years-old, this 91-pound fellow is easy to handle and walks well on a leash.
“September is friendly and mellow, and the staff recommends that he’d do well with kids who are middle school aged and older. He’d also do well with another large dog, and he could use some basic manners training.
If you’re looking for an older, sweet German shepherd, consider adopting September from the Carson shelter,” a volunteer wrote on Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page.
