Family surrendered their ‘mangy puppy’ when baby was born

A Houston family surrendered their five-month-old “mangy puppy” to the Harris County Animal Shelter this week when their human baby was born. They didn’t want the “mangy puppy” to get too close to their infant.

On Tuesday, the Friends of Emma Medical Rescue came to the puppy’s aid.

Check out Brody’s heartbreaking video:

Brody ♥

Today's new addition to Friends Of Emma Medical Rescue from the Harris County, Houston shelter… This poor little guy is just a baby himself at only 5 months old – but was surrendered by his owners since they have a new human baby in the house and they didn't want a "mangy pup" near. Brody has probably never had an inch of clean space to be in… the severity of his condition has taken MONTHS to reach this point – – needlessly suffering with pain, secondary infection and mind numbing itching…. completely disregarded by the humans who were meant to love and protect him. If you can help Brody, please do so via the Facebook donation button on this post OR to offer IMMEDIATE support, please contribute using the following link which allows for both PayPal OR credit / debit card transactions.https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=HNWQQTE5E9E78&source=urlAs always, we appreciate you!!

Brody will be receiving the care and comfort he needs. No dog should have to be treated like this. Get well soon Brody; help has arrived.

If this is the way they take care of their responsibilities then the human baby will fare no better than this pup.
