DeeDee and Dexter could really use help and need someone to love them together

At the Palmdale Animal Care Center, DeeDee and Dexter need to be rescued immediately. The shelter sent out an email to area rescue organizations this morning asking for help. Dexter (Chow Chow) arrived at the shelter with dermatitis, cherry eye and dental disease. She will need a medical rescue. DeeDee arrived with Dexter and is currently being housed with him.

These two dogs reportedly only have two days left to live without help. DeeDee is about 10-years old and Dexter is about eight-years-old. They have been at the shelter since June 28, 2022.

The dogs are a bonded pair. A 48-hour plea for both dogs was sent out today 7/18/2022 by the shelter.

On July 7, DeeDee was described as follows:

This poor older chow gal (#A5488347) has come into the Palmdale shelter as a stray in horrific condition. She is currently scared, and came in with a little terrier friend (A5488346) who also has a skin condition. Both dogs will be off their stray hold on July 2nd at which time they will be further assessed. The chow girl will likely need rescue which means we need to find a foster home or foster to adopt who can help with her medical needs. We could also use pledges too for her rescue and medical.
