Poor pup discovered in cold dark garage without food or water living like a prisoner instead of family member

During a police raid in Detroit late last week, Detroit Police Department Officer Delaney contacted Detroit Pit Crew Rescue regarding a dog discovered in horrible condition.

On February 19, Mr. Magoo was found in a cold, dark garage without food or water. He had been restrained and barely able to move; this innocent victim of neglect and abuse had been living like a prisoner instead of a member of the family. His owner has since been arrested and is currently in jail.

He was transported to the organization’s veterinary partner where everyone had been heartbroken seeing how severely malnourished, dehydrated and defeated he looked.

In the last week, Mr. Magoo has been making miraculous progress. He still remains in the care of the veterinary hospital, but he continues to gain weight, he is looking brighter. And even though he was imprisoned and neglected, he remains the sweetest dog.

Please – if you see something, say something. We hope Mr. Magoo will get justice on behalf of all the innocent victims of cruelty, abuse and neglect.
