Thanks to the Pima Animal Care Center, (PACC) more than 100 animals were rescued from a home in Tucson where they spent their lives in small wire crates with barely enough food or water to survive.
According to PACC’s Animal Protection, dozens of small breeds including pugs and Yorkies, three cats, a Patagonian mara and other livestock breed.

We could not turn a blind eye to the life-threatening conditions these animals were being kept in, and so now we turn to the community for help getting not only these pups into homes, but the large number of dogs we already have at PACC. It takes a village, and we’re calling on the village to give these pups a chance.
As soon as they are cleared by the clinical staff, they will become available for adoption. Most will be available for foster or adoption at the main shelter location. Others will be sent to PACC’s newest facility, the Eastside PACC Adoption Center (EPAC), which is set to open on June 1, 2026. The Patagonian mara has already found placement.

Please spay and neuter your pets.
