In Atlanta, Georgia, an eight-week-old puppy named Junie had been thrown away in a dumpster – her mouth sealed with a rubber band so she couldn’t cry out for help; suffering from a broken leg and additional sores all over her tiny body. Who could be so mean?
Tiffany Webb, a popular, local dog rescuer in the metro Atlanta area rescued the puppy, named her Junie and posted the puppy’s story on her popular @atldoglady, on TikTok, calling out for help.
After Webb reported the puppy’s animal cruelty story to the authorities, she rushed Junie to the veterinarian for treatment.
Junie had to be taught to eat solid foods and needed constant care and reassurance; since then Tiffany and Junie have become closely bonded. Updates on the pup are being regularly posted – no kidding the internet is going wild. The adorable Junie is a star garnering thousands and thousands of views and encouraging comments.

Junie is doing well with her recovery, but Tiffany wants to find the person(s) responsible for this apparent act of animal cruelty. Tiffany has launched the Justice for June campaign and has offered a $5,000 reward personally to find the person responsible for the puppy’s mistreatment.
I think it’s imperative because if they’re not caught, they’ll just get another puppy and hurt another puppy, and they could have people in their life that they’re hurting, And it’s just really important that these people are held accountable.”
