A heart-wrenching story has emerged from California, where a young Siberian Husky/German shepherd mix, and her litter of puppies were found abandoned. The dog, named Angel, is believed to be only about 1.5 years old and was discovered tied to a tree in Aliso Viejo Park with a box containing her seven helpless pups beside her. No food or water was anywhere to be found.

The shocking discovery was made by local residents who alerted animal control. Thankfully, both Angel and her puppies were taken in by Mission Viejo Animal Services.

At such a young age, Angel has already had a tough start in life. Being left alone, with no food or water, and the responsibility of caring for her newborn puppies is a terrible situation.

Thankfully, the good news is that Angel and her pups received veterinary care and all had been thoroughly cleaned.

The ideal situation would have been to find homes for both Angel and her puppies together, However, we understand that may not be possible for everyone. We were open to adopting out Angel and the puppies separately as well.

Siberian Husky mixes are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and playful personalities. However, they also require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Those interested in adopting Angel should be prepared to provide a loving and active home.

The puppies have since been adopted, and Mission Viejo Animal Services is encouraging anyone interested in adopting Angel to contact them directly.

The shelter describes Angel as one of the nicest, kindest dogs they have ever met. She rolls over in submission when getting pets and will crawl up into your lap for attention. Simply put, Angel is a great dog. She just needs a wonderful home to give her the love she deserves.
