Momma Dolly and her six tiny puppies have already been issued an order for euthanasia for the entire family on Monday, April 8, 2024. The family is currently in the care of the overcrowded Houston shelter, BARC. The dogs had been picked up in a nearby neighborhood and listed as strays. Dolly is heartworm positive, however she has no other medical conditions notes according to her kennel cards notes.

Volunteers at the shelter tell us Dolly is a sweet dog who let volunteers into her kennel with no issues and allowed everyone to handle her puppies without any resistance.

Dolly seems like a baby herself. her pups are chunky and adorable. I tried to take her outside but she didn’t really seem to want to go, and so we stopped in the hallway and took some pictures.
