Dallas Dog – Rescue,Rehab.Reform has put out a plea for urgent help. The open shelter in South Texas is full, and they are asking for help. Even the most adoptable puppies and dogs are not finding homes, and the dire need to help find foster homes and adopters has entered in a crisis mode in order to avoid euthanasia.

Sadly Dallas Dog RRR has no open foster homes available at this time, and these sweet little terriers are in danger of losing their lives. Both puppies are only seven-months of age – the female weighs eight pounds, and the male weighs 13 pounds. These two pups need heroes.

The puppies can be separated. The following response explains why:

they are dependent on each other that is much different then bonded. And unfortunately dependent dogs actually become less independent and tend to less attached to their people.

The best thing we can do at this point is to separate them and allow them to become their own individuals in attached to humans

dogs like this become insecure and less likely to attach and bond to a family. I know it looks like they’re attached because they’re fearful at the shelter after being surrendered but a lot of dogs in the litter can be separated. imagine if we kept all 10 puppies or litter together, it would be impossible to care for or get them adopted.

so the ultimate is to build them up and get them attached to families as well as maybe their dogs in their home. It seems sad but in the long run it’s better for them and they’re in their emotional state.

Both puppies were surrendered by their owner; their dispositions have been described as “sweet.” Please share their stories with friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
