At the Genesee County Animal Control located in Flint, Michigan, a clever pup named Thorne was very busy the other night. While everyone slept, Thorne made a break out of his kennel cage.

Hi there, it’s me, Thorne!

Today, I somehow busted out of my kennel and roamed around the room greeting all my roommates. They couldn’t believe I cracked the code and got out!! I heard a human friend walking by, so I ran over to say hello and show her how proud I was of myself.

Thorne has been patiently waiting for a human to call his own. He watches everyone arriving at the shelter meeting his friends, but no has come in and specifically asked to meet Thorne which makes him quite sad. Yes, Thorne tries his best to stay positive.

The two-year-old Dogo Argentino mix weighs 66 pounds, is dog friendly as long as everyone introduces the new pups slowly and properly and prefers older children. In the best world, Thorne would get lots of exercise and playtime. More training would be a plus, so Thorne can learn what his family wants and gets to be the best canine citizen he can be.

The staff loves how kind Thorne is and how he demonstrates gentleness and patience. This pup is ready to be someone’s buddy, ready with a tail wag and a warm nuzzle.

But it’s not just his friendly demeanor that wins hearts; it’s that irresistible snoot! It’s said that a single boop can brighten the dreariest of days, and Thorne has proven that time and time again. With every nuzzle and gentle giant gesture, he brings joy and laughter into the lives of everyone he meets.

In Thorne, you don’t just find a pet; you discover a loyal friend, a protector and a source of unconditional love, ready to embrace every adventure, Thorne is looking for a forever family that cherishes him as much as he will cherish them. Could you be the lucky one to welcome this super nice boy into your heart and home?
