At Beaumont Animal Care in Texas, the shelter has asked for the public’s help finding a foster home for a mother dog, who has ignored her own basic needs, to make sure her puppies are safe. Her name is “Mama Marie,” and she needs a foster home where she can can be cared for and still take care of her puppies. What an exceptional mom!
Unfortunately, the mother dog and her puppies had been dumped in an unspecified area in a heartless act of abandonment, however the emphasis is on helping this very malnourished dog and giving her the pampering and care she needs to safely gain weight and care for her puppies.
Please note, in an effort to control the overpopulation of dogs and cats in the area humanely, Beaumont Animal Care is proud to announce the continuation of its Spay and Neuter Voucher program, which will allow eligible Beaumont residents to have their animals fixed for free. They are currently able to issue one voucher per household per year. Appointments are done on a first-come, first-served basis and there is a limited amount of vouchers. You can apply at 1884 Pine Street Beaumont, TX 77703. You will need to bring a valid ID and a utility bill with a matching name and address.
